How upgrades, downgrades, and billing cycle changes work on Konverze AI.

Summary: Upgrades take effect immediately — your unused conversations carry forward into your new plan. Downgrades are queued to the end of your current billing cycle so you never lose paid access. All payments are non-refundable.
When you upgrade to a higher plan (or move from a shorter billing cycle to a longer one), the change takes effect immediately.
Example: You're on Pro Monthly (5,000 conversations) with 3,200 remaining. You upgrade to Enterprise Monthly (20,000 conversations). Your new plan starts today with 23,200 total conversations (20,000 + 3,200 carried). You pay the full Enterprise monthly price.
When you downgrade to a lower plan (or move from a longer billing cycle to a shorter one), the change is queued to take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Example: You're on Pro Quarterly (renews 29 June 2026). On 15 April 2026, you request a downgrade to Basic Monthly. No payment is taken. You keep Pro Quarterly access until 29 June 2026. On 29 June, your plan switches to Basic Monthly and your new billing cycle begins.
Konverze AI offers four billing cycle options. Each cycle's total conversation limit is calculated as the plan's monthly allowance multiplied by the number of months in the cycle.
When carry-forward conversations are applied on an upgrade, they boost both the total cycle limit and the monthly cap. The new monthly cap is recalculated by dividing the boosted total evenly across the remaining months of the new billing cycle.
Example: You are on Basic Quarterly (3,000 total · 1,000/month) with 1,000 conversations remaining. You upgrade to Pro Quarterly (15,000 total · 5,000/month).
Both numbers are reflected immediately on your Billing page under Usage This Cycle.
For Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Yearly billing cycles, your total conversation allowance is divided into equal 30-day windows. You can use up to your plan’s monthly allowance per window — not the full cycle total at once.
Example: Quarterly Basic plan (3,000 total conversations). Month 1: up to 1,000. Month 2: fresh 1,000. Month 3: fresh 1,000. You cannot use 2,000 in Month 1.
If you change your billing cycle while staying on the same plan:

We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days. Instead, unused conversations from a paid cycle are carried forward on upgrade, ensuring your investment is never fully lost.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or equivalent laws in your jurisdiction.

The Free plan is available with limited conversations per month. Upgrading from Free to any paid plan is treated as a new subscription. No carry-forward applies from the free tier since no payment was made for the free period.
You can cancel automatic renewal at any time from your Billing page. When you cancel renewal:
When a downgrade is scheduled, a "Plan change scheduled" banner appears on your Billing page showing the effective date. You can cancel this at any time before the cycle ends using the "Cancel Change" button on that banner. If cancelled, your plan renews normally at its current price and cycle.
